Surgical Experience:
Trauma:
Management of most trauma cases, including polytrauma cases, tendon repair and Hemiarthroplasties. I am also involved in pediatric trauma cases. I have vast experience in external fixation (including Ilizarov and hybrid fixation).As a supervising consultant, I am also involved in the care of trauma cases postoperatively. I am also involved in training the residents in the management of truma oatients.
Elective:
I perform minor procedures e.g. carpal tunnel release, release of trigger fingers.
Experienced in arthroscopic knee surgery including meniscectomy, meniscal repair and arthroscopic washout. I perform arthroscopic ACL and PCL reconstruction. Have excellent experience in arthroscopic assisted ligament reconstruction, shoulder, elbow, wrist and ankle arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures.
I have performed and master corrective open wedge tibial osteotomies and other osteotomies around the joints.
I have been involved in the management of DDH and application of hip spica.
